Neil Edgeworth 15

Here are some photos from this years Neil Edegworth Memorial Banked Slalom event held at Big White in March. This year was my 6th and Kerri's 4th time taking part in the event. I managed to make consistant times, coming 16th in the 25-34 year old category. Kerri managed to come 2nd in the same category for the ladies, impressive considering she only rode around 35 days this season.

Snowpines sunrise.
My new board with the sunrise.

Dan Currie takes 1st in the 19-24 year old category..... stoked!

Kerri at 2nd place on the podium....super stoked!

All smiles!!!!

Our good buddy Austin Lustig going up to accept his award for 3rd place in the age 25- 34 category, I think he had only snowboarded for 10 days or something this year..... made me look crap that's for sure!!!... Well done Austin!!!!

Our kiwi friend Richie Johnston takes 1st place, impressive considering he donated a kidney to his dad 8 weeks before arriving in Whistler in November, saving his fathers life. Richie was sending backflips in the Whistler/Blackcomb parks by mid season. Hats off to that guy!

Dustin Ferris in 1st, with Scotty close behind in the aged 35-45 category.

Don Lott taking 1st again in the "Legends" category.

Pro's! Carl Cowan takes 3rd behind the National Boardercross dudes!

Brett Tippie...The Incedible Hulk?(Whistler Mountain bike legend!!!)

Jessie Blackstaffe wins the first ever snowskate category. I got around 1m27s on my snowboard, Jessie did his best lap on his snowskate in 1m 44s. Very impressive.

Jessie has been coming to Neil Edgeworths for years, showing true support to the event and to snowboarding for his whole life, he was awarded with this guitar to say thank you for all his efforts over the years. Yeah Jessie!!!!

Speeech......  a little teary eyed Jessie.

Eero and Thurso have some good times on the ice rink.

Boom.
